Terms of Service

Last updated: April 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Rebounce ("Service"), operated by Rebounce ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Rebounce is a payment recovery platform that connects to your Stripe account via Stripe Connect to detect failed payments, automatically retry charges, and send dunning email sequences to recover revenue. We act as an authorized third-party application accessing your Stripe account with your explicit consent.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be authorized to connect the Stripe account you link to Rebounce. One organization account per Stripe account.

4. Stripe Connect Authorization

By connecting your Stripe account, you authorize Rebounce to: (a) receive webhook notifications for invoice events, (b) retry failed invoice payments on your behalf, (c) access customer email addresses for dunning communications, and (d) read subscription and charge data necessary for recovery operations. You may revoke this authorization at any time from your Rebounce settings or directly from your Stripe Dashboard.

5. Email Communications

Rebounce sends transactional emails to your customers on your behalf as part of the dunning sequence. You are responsible for ensuring the content of customized email templates complies with applicable laws, including CAN-SPAM and GDPR. Default templates are designed to be compliant, but customizations are your responsibility.

6. Billing & Subscription

Rebounce offers paid subscription plans billed monthly via Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings or the Stripe Customer Portal. Upon cancellation, your account reverts to the Starter plan limits. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

7. Data & Security

Stripe OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. We do not store credit card numbers — all payment processing occurs through Stripe. We retain failed payment records and dunning logs for the duration of your account. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

8. Limitation of Liability

Rebounce is provided "as is". We do not guarantee the recovery of any specific amount of failed payments. We are not liable for damages arising from Stripe API changes, email delivery failures, or incorrect retry timing. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, abuse of the Service, or non-payment. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon deletion, we remove your organization data, encrypted tokens, and dunning records. Some anonymized aggregate data may be retained for analytics.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to your registered address. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
